These terms cover the use of this website. They are deliberately short, because the website does very little: it explains what a statement review is and lets you book a conversation.

What this website is

It is informational. Nothing on it is an offer, a quote, a price, a valuation, or advice — financial, legal, tax or otherwise. Nothing you read or click here creates a contract, an engagement or an obligation on either side.

The fit check is a guide, not a decision

The fit check and Lisa ask a short set of questions and give you our honest read of them. That read is based only on what you tell them, it is not verified, and it does not commit Line Item Advisors to taking on a review or commit you to anything at all. A conversation with a person is where anything is actually decided.

Any review is governed by a separate written agreement

If a review goes ahead, it is set out in a written agreement made at the time. That agreement — not this website — governs scope, fees, how savings are measured, confidentiality and everything else. No fee is due unless savings are achieved under that agreement. No outcome, saving, figure or timescale is promised anywhere on this site, and none should be inferred from it.

Merchant Advocate performs the audit

The fee-recovery audit is performed by Merchant Advocate, a separate firm. Line Item Advisors prepares merchants for it and manages the handoff. Merchant Advocate’s work is its own, carried out under its own arrangements, and nothing reaches it without your agreement.

Booking

Booking is provided by Cal.com and is subject to Cal.com’s own terms and privacy policy as well as these. Booked times can be rescheduled or cancelled from the confirmation email Cal.com sends you.

Please don’t send documents through this site

There is no upload here and no way to transmit a file. Please do not put account numbers, card data or statement details into the booking notes. When statements are needed, they are arranged separately and an NDA is available first.

Availability and changes

This site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available or without errors, and the content may change without notice. The date at the top changes when these terms do.
